Remcast lets you describe a dream by voice or text. Our servers turn it into a short story, an AI-generated image, or a short AI-generated dream film with voice narration, which you can share inside the app — and, if you choose, publicly via a web link.
Your email address and password (for your account), your username, optional profile photo and bio, the dreams you choose to save (text and generated image), your reactions and comments, your friend connections, an optional gender preference (used only so that "you" are drawn accurately in your dream films), a push notification token if you enable notifications, and a random device identifier used to prevent abuse of the free tier (one free account per device). Voice recordings are uploaded only to transcribe them and are deleted immediately after transcription — we do not keep audio.
To create your story and image, your dream text is processed by third-party AI providers (Google Gemini for text, fal.ai for transcription, images, video and narration audio) acting as our processors. Content that violates our rules (explicit sexual content, hate speech, graphic violence, any content sexualizing minors) is automatically rejected and not turned into images.
Dreams you keep private are visible only to you and, depending on your setting, your followers inside the app. Dreams you mark as public can be viewed by anyone with the link on remcast.app. If you export an image or video and share it on other platforms, that copy is under your control.
We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not use your dreams to train AI models.
You can report any content and block any user from inside the app. Reported content is reviewed and removed if it violates our rules.
You can delete individual dreams in the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at remcastapptr@gmail.com and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
